Quality Assurance vs Quality Control - What is the Difference?

At the Future NDT training institute one can pursue a course on QA and QC. But what is QA and QC?
Quality is a very important factor which plays a very crucial role when it comes to performance of any product or service. All the manufacturers and service providers in the market, constantly look forward to enhance their product or their quality services.
In order to maintain or enhance the quality of products/services, manufacturers use two techniques which are:
  1. Quality control
  2. Quality assurance.
These two practices make sure that the end product or the service meets the stipulated quality requirements of the customer and international standards defined for the product or the service.
Quality assurance:
Quality assurance is the process of checking whether a product or service is meeting the specified requirements, right from the stage of development to production launch. It focuses on any issues or flaws related to the product or service and makes sure that it meets all ISO 9000 guidelines, for premium quality control services. Many companies have a separate department to check quality assurance.
It’s a proactive quality process. It identifies weakness in process to improve them.
The main goal of Quality Assurance, is to adhere to the specified norms of products or services development and test procedures, so that the final product or service meets international standards. Quality assurance is a terrific field to explore as a career. Following the QA/QC training at the Future NDT training institute these are the NDT jobs abroad, one can look out for in Quality assurance-

Quality control:
At Future NDT training institute, one gets an in-depth knowledge on Quality control. Quality control is a process, through which a company seeks to ensure that quality of a service or product is maintained, keeping with the international standard guidelines, and manufacturing errors are reduced or eliminated in developmental process. Quality control creates an ideal environment in the manufacturing and services sector, where both management and employees strive for perfection to produce premium quality product or services. This is done by training personnel, creating benchmarks for product quality, and testing products to check for statistically significant variations. ISO 9000 defines quality control as "A part of quality management focused on fulfilling quality requirements". The main objective of quality control, is to identify the key defects in every stage of product development and to rectify its flaws, before it’s launched in the market. After finishing the course at Future NDT, the following are the NDT jobs abroad, to look out for in the area of Quality control.
